The view was of the Liverpool docks and chemical works and if you could see through the haze of the chemical cloud you could just make out the 200ft high pile of rusting metal.

The beds were comfortable, and it was only £23 including breakfast.

Its about 2 miles down the dock road from the centre of town, a nice walk in the daytime, but not really safe in the dark. Taxi's will pick up and deliver and it costs about £3 .50 from Lime Street Station.

Quick review of Regent Maritime Hotel, Liverpool
The hotel is comfortable and cheap. The staff is nice and helpful. It is on docks so outside the hotel is not nice but that is not the hotel fault, they can't realy change that. There is little garden by the car park where you can sit and have a pint.
They have a late bar with lounge and breakfast is free. The TV in room had bad signal but the bed was comfortable.
Overall it was positive experience if you looking for budget accomodation. ...
