discerning business and leisure travelers alike. It's ideal location in the heart of the main banking and business district of Bur Dubai on World Trade Centre Road, makes it a natural choice when visiting Dubai. Dubai, the second largest of the seven Emirates that make up the UAE, is located by the blue waters of the southern gulf and flanked by the majestic desert. Dubai is a place of fascinating contrast, a distinctive blend of modern city and timeless desert, east&west, old&new. Of its many attractions, shopping is certainly the biggest one. This along with the promise of a unique Arabian experience makes Dubai the ideal destination for leisure as well as business travelers.

Long before I stayed at the RegentsPalaceHotel, close to Piccadilly Circus, I had the impression that it must be rather a nice place to stay. From the exterior one gets the impression that it is quite swish and, of course, one assumes that it must be quite costly given its location in the very heart of the West End. Therefore it was never an accommodation option I considered when looking for somewhere to stay in the capital until I found myself needing a hotel during one of the all too frequent public transport strikes. I had won a competition to go the MOBO awards with a nights accommodation at the rather grand Sunbourn Yacht Hotel in Docklands but wanted to extend the trip by a night to do some shopping and go on the London Eye; those being my main considerations I knew I would need somewhere fairly central. Each website I looked ...
Advantages: Cheap, excellent location. Disadvantages: Grubby and bad check in.
During my hectic September, travelling to and fro on a quest for beer and music, we spent two days in London to go to the last concert in Rick Astley?s UK Tour, meaning that we had to spend a night in a central London hotel. I must point out that the hotel was booked for us, paid for by Rick Astley (name dropper) and picked purely for its location rather than anything else.
Our friend Bob, who was visiting the concert with us, was given leave to book a reasonably priced hotel in the area around The Criterion Theatre ~ so he looked on the Internet and chose two double rooms and one single room at The RegentPalaceHotel.
~~~Where is The RegentPalace?
You will find the hotel just off Regents Street and Piccadilly Circus, overlooking the statue of Eros, and not far from Shaftsbury Avenue, Oxford Street and, of course ...
Advantages: Exclusive, brilliant, luxurious, great service Disadvantages: very expensive
The Burj Al Arab also known as The Tower of Arabs is one of the major attractions in Dubai. It is located on a man-made island on the Persian Gulf. It was once the tallest building in the world used exclusively as a hotel. It is now the third tallest hotel due to two taller buildings being built, which are used exclusively as hotels just like the Burj Al Arab. The second tallest hotel is located in North Korea and the hotel leading the way is also in Dubai and is called the Rose Tower.
The Burj Al Arab is a staggering 321 metres (1,053 ft) and is one of the reasons why Dubai at the present time is on of the most popular holiday destinations. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island, which is approximately 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah Beach. The island on which the Burj Al Arab is located is connected to the mainland ...
