Advantages: Sun, Sand, Nightlife. Easy for you to travel to other towns. Disadvantages: Quite commercialised and full of tourists in high season.
...Salou is an excelent place to stay, for people of all ages. It is very much commercialised and is aimed at the tourists. The two beaches are golden long, but can also get crowded in the height of the season.

Last summer, I went to Salou and stayed at the Hotel Port Salou, the hotel was excellent! The rooms were spacious with a good size bathroom and Satelitte T.V. There was also a huge wardrobe (to put all my clubbing gear in!) Every room has a balcony, but most of them are fairly small, except for the toop floor, where the balconys are almost the same size as the room! The service was excellent and the bar staff (Jose springs to mind!), where friendly and talkative, even though there English was a bit rusty!
