We stayed at the Hotel Regno for a weekend and were very satisified with everything the hotel offered. Everything was booked directly with the hotel through the internet without any problems. They arranged private transfer to and from airport. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Food is of basic standard but we ate out all the time so that didn't matter. Hotel has a roof terrace with great views. As it is on one of the main roads it can be a bit noisy but nothing off putting. 5 minutes walk to Trevi fountain, 10 minutes to forum and Colosseum. Lots of restaurants close by. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a reasonably priced place to stay in centre of Rome.
