...Since the Lufthansa flight from Nuremberg to Heathrow has been cancelled half a year ago I had to change to Lufthansa's new partner Eurowings. Eurowings offer three daily flights from Nuremberg to London-Stansted. The flights are usually on time (except for the morning flight from Stansted to Nuremberg!), and the flights are very good! The atmosphere on board is relaxed and friendly. The only disadvantage are the small meals! :-) They are delicious but seem to be made for dwarfs! The strangest thing are the prices though... The "regular fares" are very expensive, but since they have been co-operating with Lufthansa there are also special fares, which are a lot cheaper.... Read review

...Nuremberg airport in southern Germany is located about an hour and a half north of Munich. It is a small but very nice airport. It is very easy to find your way around inside the airport. The way to the airport is also very easy. It is well signposted and just easy to reach. Because of its small size you do not need to check in hours before your departure. Sometimes it is sufficient if you turn up at the airport just 30 minutes before your flight. (That depends on the airline though.) It has three flights to London-Stansted daily. They are operated by Eurowings (in co-operation with Lufthansa). Even though the airport is relatively small it has everything one might need. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and it is very clean. The only thing that could be improved are the short stay parking spots right in front... Read review

...With the football WM coming up and taking place in some nice parts of Germany I thought I could introduce you a bit of Nuremberg. And that there is more to see than just the games. Since I don't live far of from there, I thought I can tell you best! Ciao has in the chapter of Nuremberg different attractions I know and can talk about. The first one I do is about the Handwerkerhof (trademen's court). It is a lovely little place, where I always show our visitors around. Since the place is not very big, my review seems to be quite short as well. A BIT OF HISTORY... Nuremberg has a castle, which was built in the 12th century. It has a large city wall, with most of it still being there. Close to the main train station you will find the King's Gate and next to it a little court. This used to be the gun park, but 1971 it was open... Read review
