The first time I ever visited Paris I stayed at this hotel. I just left it up to my boyfriend and his dad to choose the accommodation as I knew nothing about this city at the time, except that it had the Eiffel Tower!
When we looked it up on the internet there were a few flattering photographs, and because it was so close to the GareduNord (where we arrive from the Eurostar) it seemed like the perfect little hotel.
It's in a great location for a hotel that isn't too pricey, or too cheap.

It's located in the heart of Paris, it's a lovely traditional looking building and is in the immediate neighbourhood of the amazing St Quention Market. For my last long weekend vacation in Paris, we stayed in this little 3-star hotel. It was located in the 15th arrondissment, near Ecole Militaire, UNESCO and of course the Eiffel Tower. The latin quartier was also close by. There are only around 50 rooms in this hotel, so the service provided was rather personal.

I was provided with directions from GareduNord station through Eurostar. We took line 4 towards Port D'Orleans and changed at Montparnasse Bienvenue to line 6 towards Charles De Gaulle - Etoile. We alighted at Cambronne and the hotel was just a stone's throw away, on Bvld de Grenelle.
Staff

The Comfort Hotel Place Du Tertre is located in the Montmartre area of Paris and is a stone?s throw away from the Sacre Coeur church in one direction and the world famous Moulin Rouge cabaret club in the other. The nearest metro station is Blanche, which is on the blue (number two) line and connects straight to the main train station, Gard DuNord, which makes it very easily accessible from the airport.
From the metro station it is around a five minute walk uphill to the hotel. This, coupled with the cobbled streets and uneven pavements, will make it unsuitable for those with walking difficulties. In fact, I would say that this hotel in general isn?t wheelchair friendly; whilst it has a lift, it doesn?t service all floors and is extremely small ? we found that two of us fit in at a push (and we aren?t exactly big people ...
