SECURITY
Security guards patrol the resort 24/7 the yknocked on our patio door one night because they thought we had gone out and left the door open!!! Its reassuring to see them but they dont approve of topless sun bathing (which we only saw 1 or 2 people doing) or guests using lines to dry washing !! Both are against hotel policy.
DISABLED ACCESS
We saw a couple of wheelchair users and several baby buggies. As the area is very flat and there are ramps, access should not be a problem but contact the hotel direct to confirm.
MEDICAL
We were told there is only 1 hospital on the island which is not far from the Tam, there is also a pharmacy close by ...

INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.

We booked a double room in the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel months in advance through an agent and got a very good rate of 89 pounds per night excluding breakfast, but including car parking for 10 days. The walk-in rate is, I think, somewhere around 220 pounds per night.
The arrival and check-in went smoothly. The bags were taken into the room, the baby cot we had requested was already there. What I did have to ask for is cot sheets and a blanket. The room was clean but a bit stuffy. The bed was very large and comfortable with lots of pillows. We decided to have breakfast in the room the following morning so we ordered it the night before.
