...was accepted with open arms. A tip for flights, try to ask for a seat away from the wings, there is noticably less room - I'm only 5.7, but I found it a bit of a crush - It was agreed next holiday that we would pay the extra £15 for extra leg room. Anyway the flight went well, the staff were friendly if a little unorganised. Once landed in Agadir airport, were ferried into the Arrivals lounge, where we queued to get stamped in.
Our Panorama rep was there to greet us, a very helpful man named Hassan, who reminded me slightly of the policeman of "Allo Allo".
We were given a porter to take our bags to the bus, where we were promptly told by himself to give him english money - the tone of things to come.

...With my wife being a teacher, and myself being involved on the periphery of education, we tend to be ‘stuck’ with school holidays, despite having no children to take with us. Before you ask, no, we don’t want to borrow yours!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Our primary destination, Agadir, is firmly on the Atlantic...

Advantages: Great markets and food Disadvantages: Harrassment from locals depending on time of year you go

It was my second visit to Morocco, the first having been to the north in the early 80s with my identical twin sister. As my twin and I are both red heads that caused quite a stir among the locals who would constantly ask us if we'd dyed our hair with Henna (and why we were so white!!!).
I had a bad experience on my first day down at the beach in Agadir with my mum when a really rude carpet seller just wouldn't take no for an answer. Luckilly for us a friendly local intervened. He was very decent and actually gave us lots of good advice about how to get to more remote, less touristy places.
The town of Agadir is split into 2 areas...

**Introduction**
Up-and-coming Agadir is a coastal holiday town which reflects much of the best Morocco has to offer tourists and is also a convenient jumping off place to other locations like the ancient city of Marrakesh or the World Heritage site... more
We visited this hotel in February, 2006 and found it very pleasant. The staff were helpful, the room was large, beds comfy and everything was clean. There was a good choice of food, somewhat restricted for vegetarians (as found in many places!) but much... more
