Aberdeen Art Gallery is just 5 minutes walk from the main city centre, known as Union Street where all leading stores are found. The Art Gallrey is very easy to find. LOCATION It is located between the city's Cowdrey Hall (which if open is well worth a look). Named after Lord Cowdrey who was one of richest men in Aberdeen. The Aberdeen Art Gallery is situation in a rather large, grand building, with a simple layout to show the art at its true advantage. There are regular changes in exibits with emphasis on local artwork aswell as artwork from further afield. The minders at the gallary are well in knowledge of the artwork and are happy to answer questions. There is also a reasonably priced coffee shop (licensed) on location which serves a variety of high quality food both hot and cold The parking situation is complimented with the substancial transport links to the city.
