Aeroflot is the airline that everyone really loves to hate. I like them. I ought to have a badge! It's a huge shame, really. Yes - they have their downsides, but our experience turned out OK! ...in white sauce. Aeroflot allows smoking in some rows, which means that the smoke circulates around the aircraft pretty quickly. Not good for an asthmatic like me for ten hours. We did experience delays in Moscow. Not the nicest of airports under any conditions. ...help. I will never forgive Aeroflot for not putting out some sort of message over the tanoy system to let us know everything was going to be ok. There were some very distressed people on the flight and even being told when we were out of the worst of it would have helped. Their attitude towards their customers left a lot to be desired. I flew Aeroflot last week from London to Shanghai, via Moscow. Although this was a 5-day business trip, my colleague and I were booked on Aeroflot Economy for the sake of saving £300 per ticket. We weren't particularly pleased to learn that our trip to Shanghai would be 19 hours long (when we could have flown direct and arrived in 13 hours) but we tried really hard to stay positive and open-minded. 90% of people cringed when we mentioned Aeroflot, ...

At the airport Scheremetjewor Dwa in Moscow we had to walk to our plane, because they had not enough busses for all passengers. Areoflot were atleast £100 cheaper than any other airline when I travelled to Vietnam via Moscow. For one journey I can stand being in cramped conditions for a few hours but I didn't count on the delays. I went from Munich to Shanghai via Moscow, 590 Euro. First it took half an hour to print out my ticket, just because one flight number changed. Fortunately I was early enough at the airport. The service was so so, lets say ok, but the food was rellay shit. Apart from that we got the same food on both flights! Then my luggage didnt arrive, like the one several other people who were on transit. My friend here told me, that the luggage was most times ...

I flew aboard Aeroflot in August 2000 from London (Heathrow) to Delhi via Moscow, primarily because of their excellent flight times and their highly attractive airfare (at least £100 less than my next best quote). The service from London to Moscow was equal in standard to that of Western airlines: the aircraft was comparatively modern (Airbus A310); the interior was clean and tidy; the food was satisfactory; and the attendants were cheerfully helpful. ...

Lost son's luggage, never found, waited the time for them to find it and when they cound;nt sent in claim. They sent letter telling me that after 21 days time it was too late to file. Medical breathing apparatus and life necessary medicines in luggage. Wound up in hospital for most of the time. When he was ready and able to leave, they would not even give him any special consideration in seating. We did exactly what was required of us and they did everything wrong. Of course no compensation for lost luggage or $4300 in hospital expenses incurred directly due to their incompentence. This is not a customer service issue, it's criminal. ...

I have flow aeroflot twice now and can safely say that the service is getting better all the time ... for us , it worked out we could fly business class with Aeroflot to the Seychelles for cheaper than Flying direct with BA or Air France . As the aircraft they are now flying with on the international routes are now all Boeing 737 / Airbuses the standard of accomadation has greatly improved . Also , due to the fact that they have only been only selling ...
...planes never seem to be very full so we almost got individual attention . The only drawback we found was that on the way back from seychelles we had a 8 hour stopover in Moscow airport where after the closure of the normal bars , the night bars only accept roubles !! - dollars are no good - however , credit cards are now accepted which should ease the situation ...

I flew with Aeroflot to Tokyo via Moscow - they were about £200 cheaper than the next cheapest airline. I feared the worst to be honest, but in reality they weren't that bad at all. The plane was modern (although the interior was a bit tatty), the food was as good as I've had on any flight (W. European, Russian or Japanese depending on the sector). The flights were puntual, fairly comfortable even in economy (I'm 180cm tall) and although I hate flying ...
...we watched the same, poorly dubbed film on all four sectors. Overall though, I'm someone who just wants to get from A to B safely and on time: I'd rather save my money to spend when I'm at my destination. If you're the same, Aeroflot will probably suit your needs. ...
