Disadvantages: Grotty, Shambolic, Rude Staff, Overpriced

Stay here at your peril!. The abysmal service was so bad that I honestly thought that a TV crew were going to jump out at say that I have been had 'Jeremy Beadle Style'. The Management were so RUDE! Upon arriving some of my party were left waiting in reception for over 20mins, when the 'Receptionist/Manager finally lumbered along,she just grunted and demanded payment. Do not stay at this guesthouse !!!!!!!!!!! Unbelieveably rude staff , the rooms were dirty - sheets and towels were stained , carpets hadnt seen a hoover for a good few months and hotel was very shabby with paintwork peeling etc. I almost had to laugh at how rude the manageress was as it just didnt seem real that someone who is expected to deal with the general public has absolutely zero customer relation skills ...if anyone has ever seen Faulty Towers this is what you should expect if you stay at this b&b!

Advantages: Location & friendly/helpful chef.
Disadvantages: That some people are allowed to be let loose on the hotel industry.

I stayed here recently and was made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was very polite to the manager at all times but I was spoken to like a child, she was very patronising. I've never known anything like it, it was actually almost funny. We were made to feel as if we were staying in a private house, not a public B&B and that we had overstayed our welcome as soon as we arrived.
