...The overall behaviour of the air staff gave the impression that they didn't want to be there and were not very pleasant or helpful. There were 3 televisions for our entertainment, hanging from the roof of the plane, one of which had a picture with a beautiful green colouring to it. To use these fine facilities you then had to buy headphones so that you could see this quality entertainment! I tried to sleep most of the journey, but it is near impossible ...

...saying how much they disliked air food. I have had nothing bad to say about the food previously - even on budget airlines! This one though was awful. The main meals were hardly enough to keep you going, I suppose this was so you would spend a fortune on the over priced Pringles and popcorn! - The food was especially bad when you know you have paid £15 per person for that slop! At last the holiday we had all been waiting for. The days had been counted and the day was finally here. When we arrived at the airport we were met by a lady who worked for Air2000 and pointed us in the right direction of the correct check in desks. When you are going on holiday you would expect to be met by a nice smiling, happy person when checking in. Unfortuantley this was not the case with us. What can I say about Air 2000? Firstly I was quite surprised to read other members opinions of them, which came out as very poor. Having flown with most UK charter airlines at some time or another - through numerous name changes! I have learned one simple thing. No one of them is any better than the others! ...found a bargain flight with Air 2000. I took the route Gatwick to Alicante and the flight time is around 2 hours and 30 minutes. The flight left and arrived on time. Due to passing out and sleeping most of the way there I had a breakfast that was of typical poor airline food, it was hot but so is sludge if you cook it. On the way back we checked in and found my friend and I had been put in seats far away from each other so we had to sit by ourselves ...
...Another amusing entertaining thing the air hostesses did was flight shopping and needing to find a calculator to work out how much 2 pounds was in pesetas, when the exchange rate was 285 pesetas to the pound. ...recently made 4 journeys with Air 2000, so feel that I am in a good position to commenta bout them. The airline is widely used by travel operators like First Choice, so if you have a summer holiday to spain booked you may well be travelling with Air 2000. Once there, all excited about going to Jamaica and getting married, we were told they had not allocated our seats as we had requested and paid extra for. ...to voice my opinion on Air 2000 after reading quite a few bad reviews from other members. Our flight out started with a 3 and half our delay which was due to a technical fault on the plane, this was slightly worrying at first but I would rather wait till the problem is sorted rather than leave on a faulty plane, and in the end they transfered us to a different departure gate and we got on with the journey on a different plane. The staff at air 2000 ...
...was very dissapointed some kind of refreshments were not organised as there were a lot of families with young children waiting for the plane. Anyway after this delay we boarded the plane and I had one of my most pleasant journeys ever. The food was very good and the staff very well trained and polite. For the first time in 8 years i finally went abroad to Turkey. I was very excited as we had got quite a good deal through Lastminute.com. However........ This is going to be the last time i EVER fly with Air2000 (which is a subsidery of Firstchoice) I was stuck on an isle(typo) at the front of the airplane, not bad, but nowhere to put handluggage, therefore the stewardesses(i'll go into that later!) took my bag to the middle of the plane and hid ...

I flew to Cyprus on Air2000. It was part of a package deal, and the whole trip didn't cost too much. But the reason for the good price has to be the BAD airline! First of all, the flight was delayed and no satisfactory reason was given to the passengers. The plane itself didn't appear to be particularly well taken care of. We were expected to pay extra if we wanted earphones in order to watch the inflight movie. I paid the extra, but wish I hadn't ...
...too small and far away from my seat. Those who were closer complained that the picture was out of focus. There were not enough flight attendants, they all appeared to be harrassed and not enjoying their jobs at all. The person who said this is "as good as any other" mustn't have travelled much. I've flown with this airline a couple of times and never would again. Both times the flight was delayed by a good number of hours with infrequent announcements leaving you waiting around bored. There was less leg room than normal flights meaing that on a long flight you were left feeling very uncomfortable and cramped in. The food was nothing special but no worse than ...
...make me fly with them again. The entertainment was alright but not as good as on certain other airlines, there could have been better films and shows. They did all the usual safety rituals showing you where the emergency exits are and how to put on your safety jacket etc. ...
