Advantages: cheap-ish Disadvantages: treat customers like dirt
watch out if you book Classic Premium seats, what Air2000 (and their agent in the same group Hayes and Jarvis) don't tell you is that there are 38 CP seats, but 7 of them face bulkheads and have LESS legroom than a standard seat!
given that they charge £200-300 for "extra legroom" on their longhaul flights this is not a pleasant discovery, and after 11 hours with no leg room it's a painful one too
Air2000 and H&J feel 7 out of 38 seats is no big ...

...we have only travelled with Air 2000 on one occasion, in December 2000 when we made our first trip to Las Vegas, but I would not travel with them on a long journey again. The flight was 10.5 hours plus one hour spent at the runway of Gatwick for no apparent reason. There was a lot less leg room than on other charter aircraft we have used, which made the long journey rather uncomfortable.
The entertainment on the return journey was very poor and ... ...of the plane (where we had seats at the rear) there was only one big screen which was obscured by the heads of other passengers in the front seats and the bodies of any passenger getting up to use the loos.
There was only one proper meal on the flight which was reasonably good and was accompanied by a choice of red or white wine. However after 10.5 hours flying, the only other food was a cheese and ham sandwhich which was stale and unpleasant. ...

We booked with First choice and took advantage of the "First child travels free" offer that they had. We had pre-booked the three seats together at a cost of £25, so we didn't have to check in until 90 minutes before take off. And when you are travelling with a 2 year old then the lest time spent at an airport is always better. Especially when we had to arrive at the airport at 6am!
Food was included as part of the deal, which meant a hot meal and ... ...the flight. Duty free was then offered at the end.
The staff were very friendly and willing to give that extra bit of help to parents of young children. Just having the facility to warm up milk is a bonus for you.
Overall it was a friendly service. My only citicism was the amount of leg room that we had, as it was poor. Basically the seating was comfortable, but the leg room was almost non-existant. ...

I always fly with Air 2000 and First Choice and always book at Travel Choice.
I am extremely surprised by all the bad feed back for Aie 2000 I always find them clean on time friendly and better than any other charter airline especially Airtours and Britannia! The meals and entertainment are always good better than British Airways sometimes and thats saying something. I've yet to be on a delayed Air 2000 flight and I've flown with them 20 times over ...

Advantages: Good crew,Check in at Manchester excellent. Disadvantages: Meals terrible especially children's.
We flew with Air 2000 in March to Alicante,when we booked it at the travel agents we was asked if we would like to pay extra for a child's meal the cost was £5.00 they said they was especially for children, has we had flown with Air 2000 in the past we new that the adult meals where bad so we thought why not at least my child would be able to have a meal on the plane. On day of departure we check in at manchester ,they was very quick (same can't ... ...they give my child a bag with things in to do for the jouney it was very good, then came the meals has predicted the adult meal was bad but when the childs meal came i could not believe it he had the same has us the only difference was he got a small cheese cake and a milk shake i asked the cabin crew if this was right has we had paid extra for a childs meal so we was expecting something completely different to us she said that's what they get if ...

...Airways (used to be called Air 2000). They are part of the First Choice Travel Group and I normally book via the First Choice Travel Agents in East Kilbride ( I can always get the same or better deal than their internet site).
As I always use the pre-booked seat facility there is virtually no queues as a dedicated check in for this sevice is available at Glasgow and I presume at other airports.
In five years I have only been delayed twice on outgoing ... ...was when the driver of the walkway hit the aircraft door!!. Both these delays were not the fault of the airline and perfectly understandable. I have never been delayed on the return journey, unlike some airlines.
The staff are courious and helpfull, the food is of a satisfactory level for airlines and the in-flight films are fairly new and good.
The cabin staff have a large collection of duty free on offer and cigarettes ate generally cheaper than ...

Having flown several times with air 2000, (they are now known as First Choice Airways) before i must say that this time was the best. i think since changing it's name the airline has spent a lot on the planes themselves and the staff. they crew were really helpful and polite. food was quite nice, for plane food anyway.

...recently travelled to Furteventura with air 2000 which was just short of a 4 hour flight.
Immedialtley as i got on the plane i knew that i was going to be uncomfortable for the duration of the journey giving for the unsatisfactory leg room with the added problem that i had a one year old who had to sit on my knee all the way there.
Off we went and an hour into the flight i had enough,but at some consolation the was a new release movie on which ... ...cramped conditions but at the price of £2.50 for the headset! OUCH!
Two hours into the journey it was mealtime, and to my surprisement compared to some of the food ive any on other flights it was quite nice.
We eventually arrived and i was desperate to get off that plane,just to stretch my legs.
However i have to say the staff were very helpful and my little girl loved th childrens pack she recieved with all the colouring pens and goodies. ...

...We had flights booked with Air 2000 for both to and from Lanzarote. The image of the company is a smart, modern, and comfortable. I had a good flight with them in very nice new planes. The crew were very friendly and helpful. In-flight movies were a good choice, although you had to buy your own headphones for a few pounds (£3). We have flown with Air 2000 3 times and have never had any problems.
Its very convenient for us as they fly from Stansted with very sensilbe flight times.
The food and service has always been good.
We always check in early and were able to have seats next to the emergency exit on both journeys last year ( loads of legroom & no extra cost ). It's always worth asking if they are available if like me you have long legs.

Advantages: The best airline ive flown with Disadvantages: poor flight times
Althought he rest of the reviews are bad on this airline, it was the 5th one ive flown with and defently the best. The air-hostesses were soo friendly and very helpful. There was nothing they would not do for you. The meals were good for airlines, maybe a little cold but still what do you expect. A lovely plane that was very spacious, it was 2-4-2. The flight left 15minutes early and we arrived in our destination 30 minutes before. the on flight ... ...came out on video. The seats were comfty with plenty of leg room. The only problem was that the flight times were terrible, 12:00 midnoght departure and 5am return. Apart from this our whole family thought the flight was the best yet, even though the rest of the reviews do not agree with this. A very cheap airline ...
