Air Asia is the far eastern equivalent of Ryanair in Europe and South West Airlines in the US.

Advantages: Cheap, lots of Asian destinations Disadvantages: Limited schedules for some flights, no frills (but who cares at these prices?!)
...when I found out about Air Asia. Those of you who have travelled with Ryanair, BMI Baby, etc, will be familiar with the budget -airline procedure - buy a cheap flight using the company website, check-in at the airport and board the plane as you would a bus, ie, sit where you can find a seat. Air Asia follows this formula as Asia's first low fare airline.

Airasia is quite a famour airline service nowadays in Malaysia. Its cheap ticket and easy way in ticket booking were attract alot of passangers from all the states in Malaysia including those undeveloped places. I am in Singapore now and always took this airline to back to my hometown Malaysia with lower price of ticket.
