Advantages: More Economy Class Legroom Than Other Airlines Disadvantages: Your Baggage May Not Arrive With You
...remember which. Looking at Air France's website, they do have last minute specials if you are one of those people who decides to travel at the very last second. About the flight itself, it was fine (both ways). I cannot comment on the food, as the flight was short (45 mins or so), so you only get a cup of coffee, and biscuits etc. These seemed to be pretty standard airline food though. Advantages: Customer service Disadvantages: Almost none
Air France is the biggest and best-known French airline in the world. Owning many different aircraft including the Concorde, they offer a multitude of destinations from their main Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) base, as well as other airports in France.
The British airports served by this airline are Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, London (City, Gatwick, Heathrow), Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton.
My main experiences of Air France ... ...show my passport at the Air France check-in desk. The staff at the check-in desk in Paris were helpful and swiftly helped me through without problems every time. At Montpellier, the staff were very efficient and friendly, I never experienced any problems. Prices are reasonable but there are many different prices depending on time of day, time or year, destination and other factors. Full and current pricing information is available at their website. ...

...with Scot Airways, flew with Air France on a City Jet plane, confused, not half as much as me!!
I wanted to fly to London City airport & remembered seeing an ad for Scot Airways who fly Dundee to London City airport on a regular basis. None of the budget airlines appear to use London City airport & no flights go there from the usual large Scottish airports such as Glasgow, Edinburgh & Aberdeen.
I went to Google & punched in 'Scot Airways' & it ... ...first.
Booking through the Air France website was pretty straightforward, you decide which dates you want to fly & they provide a list of times for around three days at a time. You simply choose which time or price that suits you & click on it, the price they quote is the final price. They do numerous flights per day, the cheaper flights are at awkward times but there are substantial savings to be made.
There are no hidden charges for being first ...

I usually fly with Asiana but this time Air France were cheaper so I didnt really think about it.

I recently flew with Air France to Paris from Edinburgh. There service, staff and price were great and I would choose to fly with them again if I had a chance. In my opinion, I will tell you the advantages and disadvantages of flying with Air France. Hope you enjoy it!
Air France flies to many places around the globe to and from Paris or any other French airport at different price ranges. Example: My family and I got a cheap flight to Paris from ... ...Staff.
Air France has very friendly staff on board their flights, but not in their check-in desks. As my family and I checked-in for returning to Edinburgh, the staff member was having a carry-on with another staff member and wasn’t paying any attention to us. After we checked-in, normally, with other services, they say, “enjoy you flight”. But in this case, she was still having a carry-on and we were disappointed. Their staff on board flights, ...

The Journey
Heathrow to Paris is such a short journey and with todays aircraft you can be in the air for as little as 45 minutes. So for me a lot of the journey is spent at the Terminal. With the 2 national airlines that fly to Paris ie British Airways and Air France they both have the advantage of ... ...at their foreign destination.
Air France at Heathrow gets given Terminal 2 which is tiny for the amount of flights that operate from it. There are shops but not many seats for any delays that might occur and at most times of day it is overcrowded. ...undertook a return trip by Air France from Heathrow to Paris CDG.
The outbound journey was reasonably quiet - Monday morning 10am flight with many spare seats. We borded at LHR terminal 2 and the flight was timely. Advantages: Nice planes Disadvantages: Baggage mishandle happens very often
Last Christmas, I flew with Air France, via Paris, to Madrid to visit some friends (I am Spanish, but resident in the UK). The flight from Heathrow was late and I missed my connection flight. Having wasted one day of my Christmas holiday, I hoped there would be no more problems. Nevertheless, after landing in Madrid I discovered that ...
