Advantages: Quick Disadvantages: Expensive, cramped, bad administration
...the "dis"pleasure of travelling with Aer Lingus almost weekly with my job.
The aircraft are extremely cramped and if you are in the Economy seats you don't get any food just one drink that you have to drink very quickly as the flight to Dublin from Birmingham is approximately 40 minutes. Alot of people assume that Aer Lingus is supposed to be like this as they are perceived as a cheap airline, this is untrue. I pay on average £210 per return flight ...

I had to arrange a flight to Ireland (Dublin) at short notice. Although I could have flown with Ryanair from Prestwick, at half the price, I would not have been able to meet the flight!
Apart from the considerably higher fare (£310 return) the service is outstanding, although a single drink is a bit mean, in my opinion. On other flights to Ireland I have been given a complimentary meal (sandwich) on a flight that takes the same time of 30 minutes.
