The Akas Hotel is an atmospheric and very friendly hotel situated in the traditional unspoilt Lappish community of Ylläs in a highly scenic and peaceful wooded location, some 500m...
more...from the village centre. The hotel offers 41 well-furnished guestrooms, all equipped with modern amenities to ensure guest\\\'s satisfaction. Each guestroom comprises a/c, telephone (idd), mini bar, clock radio, tv and non-smoking rooms. Its popular bar, dance floor and night club form the hub of local entertainment, and the restaurant serves excellent Lappish and international dishes, hot and cold buffet breakfast and good 3 course buffet dinner included. (Kanerva deluxe suites are self-catering with optional halfboard supplement). Miles of cross-country ski trails start from the door and the free ski bus leaves regularly for the main lifts. With an extensive list of facilities coupled with good services, this is one of the recommended accommodation in Akaslompolo.
