...suggested having a look at Al Forno Restaurant on nearby Osborne Road it seemed like the best idea, as this street is quieter during the daytime and not many people had yet discovered this gem of a restaurant that had only been open for a few weeks.
We could see that it was almost empty inside, and a quick look at the menu by the door made it plain that prices were not extortionate, so we lost no time going in. The décor at Al Forno is very tasteful in off-white and dark red for the wall, with heavy, I would guess Indian dining chairs and a number of potted plants, some very large. The flowers on each table were artificial, but their dark brown petals somehow complemented the furniture.

Advantages: Good quality food and service Disadvantages: None I can think of
I called in for lunch at your restaurant today with my wife and mother-in-law, we were so impressed that I felt the need to write and let you know.
Both my wife (a nutritionist) and I are very critical about the quality of food and service that you generally get in restaurants. It seems to be the norm to be given poor quality ingredients, not very well cooked and poorly presented. This is usually accompanied by table service from staff that have ... ...in MacDonalds. I would therefore like to commend your restaurant for delivering a very enjoyable eating experience. We only called in to get a fairly quick lunch without any great expectations, so what we received was quite a surprise. The food was excellent, everything was beautifully cooked and presented, the desserts were even better.
