Advantages: The hotel is in the city centre close to the main railway station, there is a good bus link and taxi stance all within a short walking distance. Disadvantages: The images that you see on the website, may not come close to resembling the actual accommodation you end up with.
I was just looking for a room for the evening for my sister and I to stay after meeting up to attend a family gathering. This was a very last minute arrangement.
The hotel looked fine on the website and I did check other websites just to be sure, but on arriving I could see straight away that it was very run down. The room I booked was a twin, it was on the the fourth floor and it was basic to say the least, the ensuite bathroom was grim, not a place to linger in, the tap on the wash basin was loose and there was definitely a drainage problem creating a smell that we noticed the moment we walked in the door. Advantages: central glasgow Disadvantages: everything else!
Definitly the worst hotel i have stayed in in my life time. Luckily we were only there for the night. The pictures on the website looked fine but when we arrived and got to our room it was awful the room stank of damp, the wallpaper was peeling off and there were a few holes in the walls as well as a picture of a naked woman drawn on the door.
