All Bar One on Kings Street proports to offer excellent food at a reasonable price, unfortunately it doesn't quite make it.
The surroundings are very bare and basic, with the menu written on the wall at various points around the place. The staff wear outfits that make you think of old fashioned barbers rather than anything else, but on the whole are friendly and helpful.
The food however tries too hard to be sophisticated, when simple fare would ... ...including hot and cold sandwiches (cold ones are better left alone!), the hot sandwiches are possibly a redeeming feature although the amount of green salad served with them (at two different varieties of lettuce, ooo!) dwarfs your sandwich.
An okay kind of bar for a quick bite to eat, but wouldn't really want to linger. ...
