...available! I did use the Altrincham bus station a lot more when I was younger and actually working in Altrincham but, to be fair there isn't much difference nowadays from nearly 7 years ago!
Location:
The station is located just off the main road which is Stamford New road and it is this main road that the majority of the shops are behind. The station is very easy to find and right in front of it is a taxi rank and also a clock tower. The station:

The station has two main 'tunnels' as I call them with the larger of the two having about eight stops and the smaller about five. Located behind the larger tunnel is the entrance to the tram stop where the information desk is and directly behind this is the tram stop itself. Buses and trams:

Advantages: Get's you from place to place! Disadvantages: Evil bus drivers and cold!
...are that you wont use Altrincham Bus station but I haven't written a review in a while and nobody else has written a review on it. Initially I thought there wouldn't be much to write about but as I've been thinking - several ideas are coming through.

Altrincham is not a very big place, all of the actual shops aren't far from the station. If you don't want to get the bus you can always use the Taxi rank or the Metrolink. The Taxi rank also has some seats, a phone box and that big clock (picture) I used to think was Big Ben when I was younger. There's also a McDonalds and a Pizza Hut not far from the station. • THE STATION
