Ambassadors Hotel in Bloomsbury, London

I don't seem to stay in London so much these days. It's partly because for meetings and such like, most people are now reluctant to travel to the capital for one reason or another. When I do have such a trip, I like to try different hotels from the usual Holiday Inns, Thistles and Novotels. Variety is the spice and all that. London has many great hotels, and this hotel is one of them. Located in central London, it has a great huge modern building, which includes many rooms, a restaurant and a hotel bar. The rooms are a decent size and includes an en-suit bathroom, complet with bath and shower. The restuarnat and bar are connected, with great food, which cater for all needs. In my opinion, this hotel suits for young people, especially for people that is passing through London, say from the North to Paris or whoever is to travel through the UK. Or someone that wants to spend more time in London than being in the hotel. The hotel is ideal to drop off your bag, dash and go. The bedroom is lovely, I stayed for the night. Would I stay for the weekend here? Probably no. But the staffs are friendly and it is in a very good ...
...and squeaky. Cheery is what it is but be careful if you are after the London experience, this is not the place to be. But if you're in for the London experience by staying for the hotel for so long and out on the street, then this is the place for you. ...

I sent my parents to this hotel whilst in London seeing a show. The room was £185 for the night, it was a superior double room. Breakfast was included which they said was delicious. They ate in the hotel reataurant and again really enjoyed it. To people travelling to London i would recommend, however a couple of disadvantages are as follows 1) a room above the 2nd floor is a must as the hotel is on a very busy road. 2) if going to see a show in the ...
...taxis were very expensive 3)the rooms are not that big so possible best for just one or two nights stay. The room was very clean and had the added bonus of having a plasma screen on the wall!!! all in all a nice treat and would book again for a couple on the town. ...
