Last year, I found out that my boyfriend would be going to a conference in Athens in June '08. I immediately decided that whether he wanted me to or not, I was going to be coming along. Well, not to the conference or anything but to Athens. I'd never been and did a bit of Greek history and archaeology at Uni, so I leapt at the chance. Although the conference organisers did suggest some hotels based on their local knowledge, it was also possible to ... ...you for your accommodation after. Looking through Hotelclub.com, I came across the Aristoteles hotel. A quick perusal of reviews threw up the normal range of complaining Americans, whiny Brits, and obnoxious Aussies, but I've learnt to filter out any review that starts with "I have never been so disgusted in all my life…." And the general consensus seemed to be that it was OK.

Advantages: clean rooms,nice staff Disadvantages: the area not too friendly,far from airport
the hotel's located at the trade center of athens.not far from the metro station and very close to the railway station also.although its pretty far from the airport,about 40 minutes by taxi.but very close to the pireas port,about 15 minutes.the hotel room comes with air conditioner,tv and a very clean bathroom.

There are no modern hotels, but with the feel of a new Greek. enough for you to rest. This hotel provides facilities, Rooms small but clean, equipped with LCD TV, AC, a comfortable bed, bathroom with shower. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists who enjoy spending time talking with our guests. Free internet access.
