Advantages: Good service, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Hit and miss on getting good deals

I flew from Manchester to Boardeaux on this airline. Was very happy with the service, it cost £60 one way and i managed to get an early flight. On board was very comfy, with good leg room (i'm 5ft 10"). Reasonable priced snacks and drinks available, althought the gifts on board were slightly over priced for some items. I have flown with BMI between Aberdeen and London a number of times, and have often found them to be the cheapest option when booking online. Which is all well and good if everything goes to plan. Disadvantages: Delays and waiting areas

...taken notice of how many bmi flights seem to be delayed,sometimes by a considerable amount of time,compared to other flight providers. I found that the waiting area at Glasgow airport for their service,was in little more than a hallway,and the aircraft inside and out,appeared to be a little tired looking. Advantages: cheap airfares, efficient, friendly crew, varied destinations
Disadvantages: pulled out of Durham Tees Valley

As a frequent flyer on BMI Baby (twice a week from Durham Tees Valley to Newquay and return) I have always found their service to be extremely efficient. The price of the ticket was around £60 return and took around 50 minutes each way to fly to the destination. Advantages: An affordable alternative to rail travel
Disadvantages: Nothing significant if you accept that it is a no-frills airline

My experience of flying with bmibaby has been three return trips from Newquay to Manchester. The fares were excellent (better than Air Southwest's fares for the same route and rail fares for the dates of travel), particularly when I booked well in advance. There was only one significant delay, of an hour, while an indicated engine problem was investigated. I couldn't complain too much about this safety first approach except that the hour was spent ... Disadvantages: No inflight meals but this is a budget airline!

"I have only trvelled with BMI Baby once but i will definatley do so again. Most budget airline fly from the larger london and midland airports however BMI Baby flys from Cardiff and many more. The plane itself was small but comfortable, there was no difference between BMI and any other airline that i have flown with. Although it is budget there is no difference. Disadvantages: its new, so not that many destinations

I have flown 9 times with bmibaby and overall have had a pleasent time flying with them over the past year or so. One major upset is that on 7 of these there have been no refreshments at all, not that its a major problem but it is nice to have a cup of tea when travelling. the worst journey so far was Cardiff a few months ago to munich was hit by delays by about an hour and having to stop off at midlands airport to collect stranded passengers making ... We have all heard the stories and think they are rather brilliant, don't we? We all know that you can fly to San Francisco for 4p, we all know that you can get to Dublin and back for less than the price of a pint of Murphy's, and we're sick to death of hearing how the numbskull Gareth in accounts went all the way to Cape Town last year for the same amount he usually spends on his suits (£80, tops).
