Advantages: Nice Crowd, Karaoke Disadvantages: No really bad disadvantages
I went to the Barking Dog on friday 26th June. The atmosphere was very friendly. We went upstairs and it was more lesbian than gay. There was karakoe on when we were there and the crowd there was probably about the least stuck up and most down to Earth in the gay village. The bouncers were also friendly. We left just before 1am and it was still open. I am a gay man and went there with my partner who I have been dating for almost a year. It was nice ... ...and its not bitchy either, although it is still a gay pub and with it being more lesbian the mans toilets were nice and quiet! PRICES
Bottles of VK were on offer for £1.75 a bottle. Cocktails were also reasonably priced. However the prices of the pints were as expensive as most of the other gay pubs in town. If it had been two pounds a pint I would have rated it five stars because I am a poor student, but to be fair I does deserve its four stars. ...
