Beamish Open Air museum is a favourite place of mine, a great place for school trips and a really interesting day out for everyone from toddlers to OAPs. Beamish is certainly the place where the past comes to life. This open air museum recreates life in the North of England in the early 1800s and 1900s in an entertaining way for visitors of all ages.
