Three stars with pretensions
Review of Belsfield Hotel Regal Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere by angehodgson

Advantages: Swimming pool and free parking close to the town centre
Disadvantages: The four stars aren't really justified, they just 'justify' an overpriced hotel

The Belsfield is a bit of a curiosity: I'm not entirely sure whether I enjoyed my stay there or not. First off: it is set in quite substantial grounds, so it has a reasonable amount of parking space for a hotel this close to the centre of the village, which is most definitely a plus at any time, never mind at the height of the tourist season.
