Did you know that Blackpool has more tourist rooms than any other holiday venue in Europe? Blackpool is a unique English venue! Where else can one experience the largest Rollercoaster in the UK (Europe?), plus Streets with more lights than GATLINBURG, Tennessee and a Victorian Seafront next door? Disadvantages: Tatty, noisy, expensive if you like the machines!

We regularly visit Blackpool for a short break – just to behave like children for a few days! Some would say no change there then! Blackpool itself is on the north west coast of England. It has miles of beaches with the type of sand ideal for making sandcastles towards the north and sand dunes towards the south. As it stands, the hounds hill is grubby and dark with very little lighting, more 1976 than 2008. The new proposals ready for May 2008 look set to change all that.
