Blakes seems to have gone downhill, people tend to go there now as creatures of habit or perhaps they can't leave as their feet is stuck to the spilled stickey coffee floor. The sandwiches have lost their taste and quality it seems they may have changed their supplier or perhaps feel they don't need to impress any more! ...

Blake's is on the corner of High Bridge and Grey Street, close to the Monument in the city centre. It serves delicious sandwiches, all sorts of combinations, from mozzerella through to pastrami. I have been a customer of Blake's for years and continue to visit on regular occasions. They have a wide range of coffees, teas and soft drinks including iced teas and Snapple.
