The Blue Bar was the first night spot to open up in Liverpool's trendy Albert Dock. The décor inside is a mixture of exposed brickwork arches that are the legacy of the Albert Dock and beech, glass and stainless steel which form the backbone of any trendy interior. The rear half of the bar looks out through a glass façade onto the Albert Dock itself and offers an impressive vista for a civilised drink. There's an interesting touch as far as the toilets are concerned. Although the toilets are separate, the washroom is unisex.
This is an upmarket bar and as such is frequented by many celebrities such as the cast from Brookside, Hollyoaks and Liverpool Football Club. The drinks are a little bit pricey but there is a huge selection of foreign beers, vodkas ...

This bar is situated on the newly developed (with regards to night life) Albert Dock just outside the main Liverpool city centre. The Albert Dock is certainly the most trendy place currently to be seen on a night out in Liverpool.
