Boston Logan Airport, USA(BOS)

Boston airport is one of the biggest airports I've been to. It is so big. Theres lots of planes, so it is very busy. There are toilets dotted around the airport, so it is very easy to find a toilet when you need to go. They have comfy seats (millions of seats) with drink holders. The staff that work there a friendly and helpful. There are pubs and shops are almost every where. The pubs have a good selection of drinks, alcohol, soft and sparkling ...
...though. The shops have sweets so you can suck them on the plane, crisps, and drinks lots more Some shops even sell clothes. The good thing is that they sell them pretty cheap, which is good. The airport is clean and the checking time is good. They have two lounges. The arrival lounge and the departure lounge. This year i travel to boston from heathrow. Arriving at the airport was fine and checkout was fast and easy but the problems started when we were leaving the country. We sat and waited for an hour until they opened some check in desks and for a group of 96 they opened 2 desks so of course it took ages to get through. The process would have been speeded up so much more if we did not have to wait with our bags for them to be scanned as well before ...
...the flight we found ourselves running through the airport to catch the flight, so we had no time at all to look around the shops or get anything to eat. I'm sure if we did not have this delay Boston Airport would have been a lovely place to look around. ...

...huge $5billion roadworks in downtown Boston to contend with. Arrive as late as you can - certainly after rush hour. Returning to the aiport is similarly a nightmare - it can take an hour for the last mile, and on the wrong Friday of the year (e.g. memorial weekend) total gridlock. ...Duty Free is ground side and so your purchases are taken to the plane for you to pick up. Shops are very limited and expensive. The real crime is the customs. Often the queue to get through is 15 to 20 mins as they decide only to use one of three Xray machines (I have flown out 6 times, and only on the last occasion did they use 2). Boston is a great city but Logan Airport is a still security disaster even after the events of 9/11 (9th Sept in UK speak). We flew into Logan from Toronto and a week later out again on 11/04 back to Toronto. Agreed there were National Guard and US Marshalls at the checkout but the security staff (mostly coloured and with very poor English and obviously neither very motivated or trained properly) simply were not upto the job - we didn't see even ...

At first the place seemed incredibly eerie, there were very few fellow passengers and plenty of air marshalls, police and security workers. Napoli airport is very bad. 1) There aren't very many check in desks, and we had to que for over an hour. 2) When we did check in, the stupid check in person and the people didnt know any other forigien languages. The people I was flying with knew English, French, Spanish, and German BUT NOT Italian!! AND it was a British Airways check in desk! 3) Then there was hardly and seating, no drinks machines, or shops where you can buy a drink. There are ...
...had to que for another half an hour to pay. 4) There are no "stands" at Napoli, and so we had to go on a bus. There was no where near enough room for the amount of passengers on the bus. 5) Then to make things worse, we got on a plane, then a stewardess told all the passengers that they were on the wrong plane, so everybody had to get off the plane, and onto another one. So, all in all dont fly from Napoli Airport in Italy ...
