Shoppers Paradise or Nightmare Before Christmas?
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
Tempus_Fugit
Advantages: plenty of shops for the young and hip, designer clothes, department stores
Disadvantages: crowed, expensive, unattractive concrete block, murder to get in and out by car
I've been shopping at Brent Cross for the best part of 16 years but over the past years, mainly since the refurbishment a number of years back, I'm less inclined to visit. I will explain later in my review. It's not the most attractive building in the world, in fact it's a concrete monstrosity and not very pleasing on the eye - at least not from the outside.

Cross with Brent Cross
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
mrpaella
Advantages: Free parking
Disadvantages: Out of fashion shopping mall
...trip with a visit to Brent Cross.
Most of the time I had nothing to buy so I simply followed my parents like a bored teenager.
In 1980 my school gave me some book vouchers as a reward for running the school tuck shop. I spent these vouchers in WH Smith at Brent Cross.
In 1987 I took my mother to Brent Cross via tube. My father was in India at the time attending his brother’s wedding.
In 1992 my maternal grandmother joined us for ...

Brent Cross Shopping Centre
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
zainabm
Advantages: 120 shops and restaurants, clean, all under one roof, free parking (for now!), easy to get to
Disadvantages: can get crowded
...clean.
There are three levels to Brent Cross; lower mall, upper mall and level 3. John Lewis, Fenwick, Marks & Spencer, WH Smith and H&M all occupy the lower and upper mall. There are lifts in these shops so push chair or wheel chair users have easy access. John Lewis, Fenwick and Marks & Spencer are famous department stores and generally are well stocked. The staff are generally very helpful and friendly, and I know for John Lewis staff, know ...

No, No, No
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
KingHerrod
Advantages: High Street Shop
Disadvantages: Dirty, hot and crowded
Brent Cross, yes North London, shopping heaven or hell, depending on your tastes. I view it as hell, why?
1. It is always hot in the centre making shopping uncomnfortable.
2. Parking can be difficult.
3. The set out lacks space.
4. You can tell the centre is old compared to lakeside etc.
5. It is always too crowded for comfortable shopping.
Ok, yes there is a good, not exceptional range of shops, most of the high street regulars, ...

Advantages: High street shops under one roof
Disadvantages: Not enough parking, can get very crowded
...last time I went to Brent Cross they were rebuilding the back bit by John Lewis and that was some time ago and they still have not got the parking right!
There are three levels, Lower Mall, Upper Mall and Level 3.

I hate Brent Cross
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
LorraineM
Advantages: Shops
Disadvantages: Hot, Dirty
...ten minute drive away from Brent Cross and I hate it, why? It is crowded, dirty noisy and has none of the large spaces, coffe shops, etc that make some other shopping centres nice to visit.
Yes, it has the high street giants, but that is about it, you wil not find smaller more independent shops, nor will you find relaxing shopping.
I would rather go to the Weat End as there at laest is more space there.
Brent Cross lacks facilities and most ...

Quick review of Brent Cross (London)
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
itcantbe
Hi , i brought my mother to visit London Fri 18 July. She was in a wheel-chair.
We went into Marks & Spencers were she bouth some shoes, we went to queue at the pay desk were there was a very long queue.
We were called a cross by a very nice lady who told us we could go to the end counter and pay, there was no need to struggle with the wheelchair in the queue.
I would just like to say a very BIG THANK You to this lady and to Marks and Spencers, this made it a lot less stressfull for us both.

Brent cross sucks big time
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
cellnetsms
Advantages: under a roof
Disadvantages: loads
Brent Cross is a big shopping centre located in northwest london. London transport by bus is awful given the crud nature of london buses, and the fact that alot of buses go via cricklewood which is always congested with traffic. The tube doesn't stop that near to Brent Cross and so you have to walk 20 minutes to get there.
But once your there, it is no fun. There are shops but then again they are all the same types of shops that you see on the ...

Cross it off your list
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
m_kingdom
Advantages: Large amounts of free parking, easyily accessed by public transport
Disadvantages: Poor selection of shops, small, hideous building
Living in central London, Brent Cross is my nearest out of town shopping centre. I rarely go there, mainly because there is no need. I have been there a couple of times mainly because sister stores have been out of stock of a particular product, whilst their Brent Cross branch had it.
Driving to Brent Cross is extremely easy, as is parking - loads of spaces in both open and covered carparks. The building itself is a mish-mash of hideous seventies ...

Brent X Still free parking
Review of Brent Cross (London) by
Victor77
Advantages: Free parking
Disadvantages: NONE
The most attractive feature of Brent X has to be the free parking. So few of the shopping centres still have this facility and even some of the more unscrupulus operators will try to charge for as much as they can get.
Shopping is a customers right to locate the lowest price and make an informed decision here at Brent X. The customer can be more relaxed in the shopping experience with the full range of high street stores under one roof that dosnt ...
