    Advantages Advantages Accessible from the A50, clean and nice menu range

    When Brewers Fayre ratified its offerrings between Brewers Fayre and Table Table this establishment became Table Table, I think this was because it has no childs play barn. The Racecourse is situated on the A50 at Uttoxeter, you must exit the A50 at the Derby Road roundabout which heads into Uttoxeter and then turn right into the car park. This establishment is attached to a Premier Travel Inn incidently and if you are not stopping at the Alton Towers Hotel itself this is probably the nearest reputable place to stay for visiting, with that in mind at certain times in the summer it will get ... more

    A disgraceful sunday dinner . I ordered steak and ale pie which came cold with 2 chunks of grizzle and bland ,dry so called pastry. It came with a tiny amount of mashed potato and garden peas. £7.50 was stolen out of my wallet by the joke management .This is the worse so called dinner i have ever experienced and i have been in some dumps DONT GO ITS APPALLING.

    This is a relatively new family pub adjacent to a Travel Inn. Having visited several times, the last 3 dining experiences means we will not return. Each time at least one meal has been sent back - the last time Duck a l'orange which was still not fully defrosted, never mind cooked! The vegetables are generally microved / dried around the edges. They clearly rely on passing trade for Alton Towers which is just a few miles away, and are unlikely to get repeat business from Locals indeed, we are aware of several friends who have also had bad dining experiences at The Racecourse - a lost ... more
