Britannia Airways - BAL

Having flown Britannia on numerous occassions into europe each time has been better than the time before. Britannia really do seem to listen to their customers views and try hard to accomodate their wishes. The airline staff have always been helpful and the only delay experienced was due to the French Air Traffic Controllers deciding to down tools which created a delay of 4 hours, not the fault of Britannia. Standard of cabin interior is of good quality for the standard fee of flying with Britannia. Reasonably comfy seats to relax and enjoy tour flight, and if paid for separately, the onboard meals are quite satisfactory also for those wanting a mid flight snack. My Experience of Brittania boils down to a long wait on a runway with no service and starving passengers. Its difficult being couped up like a chicken at the best of times but with two children it becomes unbearable. As soon as the announcement came that the flight was delayed the entire cabin crew vannished. No offer of food or drink. They know that children can't sit still and since most people on the plan had already been on a 3 hour transfer ...
...grab any food, their absence was obvious. The delay turned out to be caused by the fact that they could not get the laugage on the plan and we had a great view of the ground crew ramming the bags on with on of the pickup trucks, brilliant. There you have it, combine this with the offer of alchohol and peanuts when the flight got going, I would avoid Britanna like SARS!! ...

I have just returned from Maspalomas on a flight from hell,the seat pitch must be bordering on "health and safety issue" I am only short but I found it very uncomfortable and I am sure that God forbid you had to take up the "crash position" you would probably break your neck ! I opted out of the meal as if I am going to spend £10 on a meal I do expect food that you can recognise. You were treated as a second class citizen if you didn't purchase ...

As a reglar flier with Brittania nice to see that their staff are not all snooty nosed stewards/ess who look at you as though you are a piece of dog dirt. we found people of different ages who could have a bit of a laugh with you and actually enjoyed talking to our children. Well done Brittania for making families welcome on your airline. It is defintely because you dont think at 25 people are passed it. your airline was helpful and was very effient ...

Although I have only flown with this airline twice, not once have I had a problem with them. Their fleet of planes is very comfortable, the crew offer an excellant service and they are very reliable. With the two times I have flown with them, not once have I had a delay. The on-board service is also very good especially on the longer flights. okay so picture this.... you're about to go on a really exotic flight to a really nice place on a plane that you've been on and trusted, (airtours) when last minuet voice over: 'would all passengers on the airtours airbus flight to lanzerote please make their way to the Britania airways as your plane has been switched' somthing like that, so we got on the plane, pretty nice flight, apart from it was four hours with no food and really tight space, ...
...to someone we'd never met, okay but on the way back!!!! We still had no TV or music, and cramped spaces, but we had a delayed flight and we had to refuel and we had to circuit the airport 3 times because we put too much fuel on when we refueled! all in all the journey took us 7 hours instead of 4 and we got no lunch untill three o'clock in the afternoon!!!! in my opinion, everyone should stay very clear!!!!!!!!!!! ...

ALTHOUGH THE PLANE WAS THE SMALLEST ONE ID EVER SEEN, THE SERVICE WAS QUITE GOOD. THE FOOD WAS BETTER THAN NORMAL PLANES BUT I HAD THE SAME EACH WAY. THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE MENU NOW AND AGAIN U KNOW? THE LANDING ON THE WAY THERE WAS PERFECT BUT DONT EXPECT IT TO BE THE SAME ON THE WAY BACK, BELIEVE ME.
