HAMPSTEAD BRITANNIA HOTEL - LONDON
On a weekend break to London we stayed at the Britannia. (But please note this is only a review of the hotel London review will follow) It's situated in the village of Hampstead about a ten minuet drive from the centre of London. (Actual address Primrose Hill Road, Hampstead, London NW3 3NA) Hampstead boasts designer shops and a great restaurant's but only being there for two days we didn't see much of the area ... ...centre so we saw very little of Hampstead itself. A sort tube ride away is London city centre were there is so much to do, theatres, shows, Buckingham palace, London eye etc etc etc. the night life is ok. The hotel is a ten minuet walk from Camden which is full of pubs but when we went they were all full and not accepting any more people the queues are out the door. We found one that was half full o we stuck in there till closing time. But there ...

I stayed at this hotel when I went to London for a two night stay, it was a travel package which included coach travel down, we didn't know where we were staying until we got there and believe me if I had have known I wouldn't have gone. The outside looked okay and the lobby didn't look too bad either but then we went in our room, it was very dark and dull and very dated, it was fairly clean though. The toilet and shower were seperate the toilet ... ...were cracked and looked as if they had been stuck on by somone who didn't know what they were doing. There was no bath just a stand alone shower squashed into a cupboard that was hidden with a door.
The food- The travel package included breakfast and tea, there wasn't much choice, if your fussy your stuffed basically, and it was all cold and both meal sittings served the same food, we went to macdonnalds on one night and to find one of them we had ...
