Britannia Hampstead Hotel, London

HAMPSTEAD BRITANNIA HOTEL - LONDON On a weekend break to London we stayed at the Britannia. (But please note this is only a review of the hotel London review will follow) It's situated in the village of Hampstead about a ten minuet drive from the centre of London. (Actual address Primrose Hill Road, Hampstead, London NW3 3NA) Hampstead boasts designer shops and a great restaurant's but only being there for two days we didn't see much of the area we wanted to do the touristy thing in the city centre so we saw very little of Hampstead itself. I stayed at this hotel when I went to London for a two night stay, it was a travel package which included coach travel down, we didn't know where we were staying until we got there and believe me if I had have known I wouldn't have gone. The outside looked okay and the lobby didn't look too bad either but then we went in our room, it was very dark and dull and very dated, it was fairly clean though. The toilet and shower were seperate the toilet needed updating also, there was tiles in it and they were cracked and looked as if they had been stuck on by somone who didn't know what they were ... more
