Advantages: Cheap, spacious, good location Disadvantages: Old fashioned decor, poor service on a few occasions
...friends and family, and chose Britannia Stockport Hotel as our base for the weekend. The hotel is situated on Dialstone Lane in Offerton, Stockport, and is about 5 minutes away from the M60 ringroad around Manchester. I had previously read several reviews of this hotel on other websites suggesting that the hotel was terrible – dirty rooms, poor service etc. However we decided to give it a try as it was an ideal location for us and for less than £90 ... ...I made my booking through Britannia Stockport’s own website (http://www.britanniahotels.com/hotel_home.asp?page=118&campaign=Google&kw=Stockport+Britannia). Advantages: Swimming pool, health centre where you can mix with the 'locals'. Disadvantages: Location, far from train station. Will cost you in taxi if you don't drive

Free wifi in public areas such as the bar, ... ...one rude breakfast waitress who obviously did not get employed for her looks nor for her politeness either.
The room is basic, fairly clean but found some body hair (not sure what body part it was from) in my bed, was too tired to complain so i brushed it off, eeeww i know...
In short, nothing special about this hotel, quite handy if you have no other option at all, better than sleeping rough i guess. ...
