British airways (BA) has been a constant staple of mine whenever I have to travel to various parts of the world. Usually I would purchase tickets based on price but if its a difference of just a couple of tens of dollars, I would pick BA. I have several reasons for doing so. This time, by using www.priceline.co.uk to book our tickets, BA turned out to be the cheapest route. Cheaper, even, by going by train - but then what's new? Buying the tickets I used Priceline, where you make a bid for your tickets and, if successful, they instantly book your tickets for you and charge your credit ...
...In so doing, we got our tickets for £149 instead of BA's advertised price of £335. A hefty, and most welcome, discount. The booking immediately appeared on my BA Executive Card account, viewable online at www.ba.com. I'd been having a really, really terrible time at work of late for one reason or 25 more (Ahh, bless!) The SAD season was approaching faster than a boy racer on the outside lane of the M25 and I wanted a bit of luxury. A bit of sun. A touch of R&R. Answer? Holiday! Due to the devastation of the 11th September I wasn't that keen on a long-haul flight so needed somewhere closer and with a touch of sun. Never been to Spain before - prefer farther afield ...
