Advantages: felt safe Disadvantages: food ran out.
...my personal experience i think British Airways offers a good service. I have flown with them for a few few times and have never experienced any delays and I felt safe on all the journeys.
The food was fair although sandwiches ran out towards the end of the flight. The main meal was good and quite filling.
The price was slightly more expensive than other airlines but i think it is worth it because i felt safe flying with them.
Don't book ...

Advantages: NOT MUCH Disadvantages: PAINFUL EXPERIENCE !!
...SERVICES WERE PORR ESPECIALLY THE BRITISH STEWARDESS. ALSO DUIRNG THE MEALS THERE WERE TIMES WHEN I HAD TO GET MY DRINKS AND SNACKS BY MYSELF FOR 3 TRIPS. WITH VIRGIN THEY WILL BRING THEM TO YOU WITHOUT ASKING AS PART OF SERVICE. BRITISH STEWARDESS CARRY LESS SMILE AND THEY COULD BE HIRED FROM LOCAL SUPERMARKET CASHIERS!!
I NEVER EVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH VIRGIN.
I AM AFRAID THAT BA IS GIVING AND SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLOUR BY SHOWING A BEST ONBOARD ...

Advantages: Destinations Served Disadvantages: Toilets
I have travelled 8 times with BA in the last 12 months. This is a lot of travelling I believe. They fly to some destinations that no other airline does. e.g. Kolkata, India. Somethings that I readily attach with BA is concern for passengers and Comfort levels. I ahve had excess baggage a few times but they let me off 5kgs each time, without a request. I like the way the onboard staff has been trained to interact with the passengers. They are very ...

Having flown loads in recent years mainly transatlantic I thought for a while as to which is the best airline and am absolutely sure it is BA. They have their faults but overall they are better than all the rest. So if you choose to fly BA things to be aware of to make your expearience as good as it can be.
Booking, book on line direct with BA.com it is cheaper than anywhere else and in my expearience even beats the discount flight centres.

Advantages: Soft like a peach, usually Disadvantages: You can't always see them
...wanted to find out about British Airways and were duped into a lengthy chat about behinds, doesn’t mean you haven’t been enlightened. In fact you’ve been enlightened on a whole different level. Give your bum a fond pat, and parents…. Don’t smack your child’s bottom if they’ve been naughty. Squeeze their toes instead. Feet are the enemy, not bottoms. ...

Advantages: Hard one Disadvantages: Expensive, rude, inflexible, monopoly
...use (I stress "have to") British Airways and their subsidiary BRA a dozen or so times a year for internal UK flights. The only good bit about them is the jam and cream scones.
Whilst I couldn't fault the flight staff - they all do their best, the attitude of their ground staff ranges from merely okay to downright rude and unhelpful.
Whether this is how they are trained to behave or otherwise it galls me. We have to pay around 220 ukp (Apex) ...

Advantages: good service, food Disadvantages: limited service
I used to travel via British Airway when i trveled to UK 3 years back. I takes 13 and 1/2 hours to reached to London from Kuala Lumpur. I still remember the warm welcome smile i've got when i was in the plane. In addition, of course, the delicious food and tasty wine. The customer service provided is superb. The staff in the plane is very experienced and helpful.I have a very comfortable and lovely experience when I am in the plane. However, BA has ...

...one of those was with British Airways. I have never experienced any problems and I hope I never will. I believe that they are reliable and I was told that their safety record was impeccable and one of the best in the world. Also their safety record to Hong Kong is also very good which is very good to know. Just hearing the name,British Airways, and you feel reassured that you will get a good service and that you will feel safe when travelling with ...

Advantages: Multilingual now, but everyone's doing it. Cheap for students comparatively. Disadvantages: Cabin crew a little stuffy at times. Never know when a Strike's coming...
British airways was supposed to be the national carrier for UK. I wonder how long it can last in that position since now all the no-frills flights are chopping up British Airways' market share. Not to mention their profits. True, they started their own no-frills airlines, Go, but still it's a competitor to themselves as well in the long run. But one thing I did like about BA was the advertisement with the Yanni music in the background. That was what ...

Advantages: Right choice to choose BA for long journey Disadvantages: Very expensive
I always travel in British Airways once a year abroad with my family. When I was travelling last time, I heard the announcement "a passenger is collapsed with chest pain. Doctors who travel on the board, please come forward immediately". I never thought myself what would happen if someone is sick in the middle of travel. A doctor next to me came forward to help and attended the patient who was in first class. The doctor suggested some medicines to ...

Advantages: posh name Disadvantages: dangerous policies
The policy of BA (as told by the staff) is to allow a passenger to put another passenger in a position where their knees are inline with their nose, the position may well cause DVT but this is a comfort issue and not a danger issue acording to the BA staff i have talked to. Even after sending letters and emails i still had no excuse for their behaviour. The only answer that I have managed to get is "we are sorry that you were uncomfortable" the danger ...
