Advantages: High class, very efficient, modern planes
Disadvantages: Not much

We last flew with British Airways almost a year ago, September 2000 from Heathrow to Washington Dulles airport. And it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Advantages: Good price, reasonably comfortable
Disadvantages: Poor staff, poor food, poor leg room

Last year i did a flight of Belfast-London-LA-Brisbane-NYC-London-Belfast. This was a code share flight with two other airlines who i will review in their respective sections. I have also done a review of the BA travel shop that i bought the tickets from. The London-LA and NYC-London legs of my flight were with BA. ...my life and never with British Airways. I have just been on honeymoon to Cyprus and the flights were with BA. Advantages: Great way to throw any unwated cash
Disadvantages: Attempts to evade European law to avoid refunds.

...£3650 (approx $6387 USD) to British Airways to fly business class, full flat bed service from London UK to Cape Town SA. They decided not to provide me with the service that I had paid for, and have since lied and altered their story to avoid paying an acceptable refund. Disadvantages: Codesharing may lead to Aircraft being owned & operated by a non-BA Airline

I have used British Airways on a number of occasions and first off, I must say that it is definitely my preferred airline. The most recent was when I travelled to Germany as a Euro Traveller on a past CityFlyer service.(Previously an independent airline until BA bought it a few years ago). British Airways markets itself as the “World’s favourite airline”. Having spoken to many frequent travellers, opinion appears to be very much divided. Advantages: the cabin crew are great! the new World Traveller, Club Class.
Disadvantages: not many...

We went out the Boston on the Boeing 777. World Traveller has cosy seats and decent legroom. The food was quite nice and we had seatback tv's! Not very good films though! The cabin crew were polite if a bit distant and ever so slightly stuck up. I think this has been mentioned to BA. The in-flight comfort pack was pretty standard-toothbrush,toothpaste, socks and eyeshades and a destination guide with the menu. Virgin's is better though. Club World ... Read review

Disadvantages: cramped conditions

...of all who travel on British Airways flights is our priority". This is good to know. The time actually passed very quickly. As long as the Mack has her food and tv in front of her, she's fairly happy! There is a video shown at the beginning of the flight about how to stay healthy on board, with some leg exercises to do to prevent DVT. I have flown BA many times. I have flown with them on business throughout Europe and on holidays on scheduled flights. They have portrayed themselves as the world’s favourite airline but whenever BA are discussed no-one seems to have a good word for them. If this paradox is not perplexing BA then it should do. Disadvantages: None

British Airways don’t seem to be the most popular of airlines on Ciao and to be truthful I don’t know why. BA provide high quality service, comfort and value for money. Okay that last point will ignite some debate but I have found in general British Airways to be good value for money. Advantages: It didn't crash
Disadvantages: A crash would have been less painful

Quality service, spacious seating, ample information and assistance, a friendly atmosphere and that feeling of 'I flew with the right airline'. All of these things, in fact 'any' of these things would have been nice additions to my recent BA flight!
