I have used British Airways to travel couple of times. To be honest here, I am never disappointed with the services they provide. Although some of my friends told me that the stewardesses of British Airways are very impolite sometimes, in addition some of them are quite old (which is really offensive to me). I have flown witn British Airways many times, both long haul and within Europe, and have found their service to be first class. The staff will go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with their service. They are seemingly always helpful, cheerful and polite - even in economy! Smashing airline! I have travelled with them many times, twice on their new 777s, and it was a pleasure! The staff are so very friendly, at both the UK end and the US end. I cannot express how lovely they are in words, as they helped me so much with travel at a young age. The food on the flight is surprisingly good, and on the 777s in economy you get YOUR OWN TELEVISION! With 14 or so tv channels and also eight or so radio channels. It's so much fun ... Read review

Advantages: the areoplane is clean and kind of spacey.
Disadvantages: the cabin crew can be quiet rude. its a matter of luck

In the last 2 months i have been on 2 holidays. one to egypt and one to saudia arabia, both i had very different experiences with using BA airlines. When travelling to Egypt on a boeing 747, the Ba flight cabin crew in (or whatever they are called these days) were very nice the world traveller section, We had no food booked for us on that flight which is a mistake which can happen. the way the flight crew dealt with the problem was brilliant, ... Advantages: Huge Range of destination, Trusted Brand, 99% helpful staff, online features
Disadvantages: Sometimes too big for personal service.high charges for booking off line

Now there are some advantages of going low cost , cheap and cheerful - but there are some glaring disadvantages of the "so called" low cost airlines too - Like bad punctuality, lack of flexibility and dumping you in some bizzarre airport miles from your real destination. Advantages: The solitary force in supersonic commercial flight
Disadvantages: Age

...to the grounded burden of British Airways. The bird is now a 35 year old design with between 25 and 30 year old airframe. Due to the high levels of stress involved in supersonic flight, it is bound to be weakened. The debate about the tyres damaging the wings or engines malfunctioning shows it is not suited to modern day air travel and the safety standards we come to expect. I use British airways two three times a year for flights abroad. Having a disabled sister I find that they are very good at helping, they have excellent facilities for the disabled, with wheel chair space, and the isles are wide enough. They allocate you some extra space if you tell them that a disabled person will be flying. During the flight, a personnel always comes and asks whether ‘she is ok’, which is really nice. However, ... ...something good to say about British Airways. Having worked as a travel agent I often heard bad opinions about British Airways, but decided that their deal was too good to miss when I needed a cheap flight to the USA. The check-in staff were very helpful and managed to get me an exit seat upon my request. I would recommend flying on the upper-deck with BA if you can,if you are on a 747 in economy, it is much quieter and there are less people up there. ... Read review

Advantages: Fully reclining seats on flights outside of Europe and also you can "Raid the Larder!"
Disadvantages: Scrabled eggs are a bit plasticy

Because I've got a parent who works for BA I've been flying with them since I was born. Every year we would jet off to a foreign destination and enjoy the sun sea and sand, but to be honest my favourite bit was always the flight. The European flights are awesome. Advantages: More legroom, quiet in cabin
Disadvantages: more expensive

Recently flew with BA fom Hong Kong to London on World Traveller Plus class. The new class created by BA. Targeted at Premium leisure traveller. There are only 6 rows in the class and the seating arrangment is 2-4-2. The toilets are actually share with economy class and is situated in front of the economy class. I have flown British Airways several times over the last few years, mostly from London to New York. The staff has always been friendly and forthcoming, in particular with seating requests. On a recent trip from London to Cyprus on BA, we arrived at the airport so late that we found ourselves stuck in the middle back row of the airplane, my least favorite place to sit. British Airways spends a significant amount of money promoting itself as the worlds favourite airline: Favourite for what I wonder. My experience (and others) of British Airways is that it is expensive and that its service is poor. Like so many British industries, it seems not to value its customers.
