Advantages: New boss sweeping the changes
Disadvantages: Customer Service in my opinion poor

British Airways has always strived for unparalleled service and safety. And, as far as Concorde is concerned, acheive this. Air France is the only other airline with Concorde but so it may seem a little unfair to say that Air France don't live up to the standard exacted by British Airways but to re-iterated the title to my opinion not all airlines are created the same and though they may all strive to attain the best of service and passenger safety ... I always choose British Airways when flying internally, the reasons why are simple. BA terminals are easy to navigate and provide excellent customer support. Parking is easy and checking in electronically is simple and effective. I like the feeling I get when relaxing preflight in their lounges and Their frequent fliers scheme is affiliated with airmiles so you can really boost your collection. I took a flight with British Airways to California from Gatwick. It was a 10 hour flight so I hoped there would be good entertainment. There was, with a wide range of popular recent films and TV programs to choose from. The seats had plenty of room and were comfortable. The air hostesses were pleasant and always helpful. The best airline that my family and I have flown on - excellent catering, service, entertainment and first-class treatment even in economy. The staff were polite and helpful and were willing to respond to any request with a smile. Not only have I had problems with their website but also whilst actually travelling with them.I have experienced the old chestnut of overbooking which occurs far too regularly for comfort. When you enquire about this problem all we are told is "every airline does it".This is a great help when you are faced with an extensive stay at the airport through no fault of your own.Their cabin staff I feel, in general, are 'snooty' to say the least and should ... ...hesitation that I have found British Airways Cabin Crew to be the most helpful and kind. Being disabled it is a bit difficult, and sitting sown for a good few hours can take its toll, so if I want to go to the toliet, a bit of assistance would not go astray. Disadvantages: difficult not to disturb others whilst getting out of seat when all seats are reclined at lights out

Loved it! 3500 quid is what it takes to travel business class return to Calcutta these days. So I guess for that kind of money you are going to expect to be treated like royalty...and that was almost the case. Having travelled via economy on Aeroflot and BA previously this was an experience. There is sometimes a problem with the smaller airlines that you don't know what you are going to get. BA is one of the national institutions of the country, they may not always get it right and they may be facing financial decline but I am always happy to fly with them. ...I have to say that British Airways failed to impress on a regular basis. Firstly I was quite annoyed at the staff's snobby attitude towards the passengers. They really treated them (of course especialle the economy class travellers) as if they had to fall on their knees and thank BA that they were allowed to travel with them. ...times and have always used British Airways. They are the best. The stewardesses have the patience of Jobe. I mean, who could handle all those passengers for a grueling 12 hour flight and come out smiling. Not me.
