Great!
Review of British Airways Executive Club by
Olivah
Advantages: Lounge use, 1st/Business Class Check in, Free Upgrades, Air miles, treated well.
Disadvantages: Can lose your tier quickly, have to fly a lot.
I have to say that the BA executive club is probably one of the best Airline Frequent Flyer programs, I was invited to join a few years ago when I flew First Class with BA and I'm thankful that they asked me!
Being a gold member I have lots of advantages such as using the lounge, using 1st Class check ins, priority boarding, free upgrades and a lot more. If you're either Silver or Gold you generally are respected well by BA so you kind of get a bit ...

Good scheme which encourages my loyalty
Review of British Airways Executive Club by
MikeLB
Advantages: Easy to use, easy to understand, no hidden catches
Disadvantages: Unable to buy your way up to next tier.
there are times when i need to fly every few days with my work, and the BA scheme has encouraged me to fly with only BA wherever possible, especially after expeience with budget airlines. The scheme is open to those of us who have our business book and pay for our flights, but we can collect the miles and points. "Qualifying Flights"
Review of British Airways Executive Club by
Iain1955
Advantages: Lounge access if you have Silver status or above
Disadvantages: "Qualifying Flights" needed as well as points to maintain Silver status or above
Their lounges are good, but increasingly crowded, and the OneWorld Alliance is a good partnership offering a good choice of airlines and reciprocal lounge access, but beware, you need to buy four full fare returns in 12 months to retain Silver status or above. BA offers so many discounted flights it is not common sense to buy full fare flights just for this benefit, but without Silver status or above Executive Club Membership is almost worthless. ...

Ok If You Can Afford It!
Review of British Airways Executive Club by
jonparr
Advantages: Can check in 24 hours before hand
Disadvantages: No benefits for economy passengers
As a regular flyer to France I signed up to the BA scheme in the hope that I would get something out of it. But if you weigh up the advantages/disadvantages, you might as well travel budget airlines than vainly accumulate miles on this scheme.
As other reviewers say, you accumulate miles for each flight and tier points, but the tier point only come for premium seats. For us poor travellers who go for the cheap seats, you never get tier point s ...
