Browns is a nationwide chain that consistently provides an excellent all-round service. Atmosphere: Excellent! It is well lit and large, yet still manages to hold that personal dining experience away from the crowds. The cultery and furniture is quite modern with black wooden bare tables. Drinks: The bar is excellent, with very knowledgeable staff. Many of the drinks are surprisingly well priced - Hendrick's gin is about £5 for a double, which is ... ...The wine list is good, with a great range of price and quality. Food: The menu is extensive and almost too much so. However, how can you complain about this! The food is of an excellent standard with a few things that push away from the usual boring options. Starter to pudding is a great experience. There is a great prawn and avocado salad to start and a range of classic main courses like lamb shank, belly of pork and a good well £10 hamburger.
