Advantages: friendly service, considerably cheap, city centre Disadvantages: tiny, not many facilities
...later, i stumbled upon the Brunswick and called right away. I was amazed by the price. It was exactly what i was looking for in price. It wasn't really really cheap, but it didn't clean out my wallet. It came at £65/£80 per night. Difference is that if you want an ensuite shower then it's more expensive. To me that's silly but i wasn't bothered.
I called them up the same night and made reservations. The lady who took my call was very helpful and ... ...The hotel is situated on Brunswick Street, hence the name. It's near George Square which is a popular tourist point, and right beside everything at your convenience, bars, restaurants etc so there's no worries in being stuck for things to do. The hotel itself is placed in a side street so it's quite hard to spot, but once you find it, it's real easy to find again and again.
