The car parks are well directed and you will be shown where to park.

Advantages: Great rides, safari and number of shows Disadvantages: A little expensive
I have only been to Busch Gardens once but I can whole heartedly recommended it! I will be going back there in about 3 weeks time!
Background
==========
The park is in Tampa Bay, Florida, which is about an 1 hour and 20 drive from Orlando/Kissimmee where most British holidaymakers tend to stay. I would say that only 30% of people holidaying in Florida actually go to Busch Gardens for two reasons:
Firstly is because of the distance from Orlando. ... ...Towers and Thorpe Park then Busch Gardens suit you much more. That is not to say that Busch Gardens only caters for adrenal junkies, as this would be doing it a great disservice. Busch Gardens is African themed throughout with a mixture of rides and shows alongside a safari. There is so much to see and do and I will try and give you a taster of what you can expect.
Thrill Rides

This is where Busch Gardens beats every other park hands ...

...friends, we decided to visit Busch Gardens to celebrate one of my friend's birthdays. We had done Orlando earlier in the holiday and after spending 10 days sunbathing we wanted something fun to end our time in the States. Busch Gardens did not disappoint.
GETTING THERE:

We were travelling from the south, near Sarasota and it took us about ... ...to follow the signs as Busch Gardens is the major attraction in Tampa and is well signposted. There is plenty of car parking available and like Disney they have unemployed air traffic controllers directing you to spaces. Once parked you walk to a tram stop where the tram will then drive you to the main entrance. The trams are constant so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
PRICES:
Tickets for Busch Gardens are, like any theme park, not cheap. ...

Well having wanted to visit Busch Gardens on a number of occasions and unfortunately not being given the chance, I felt I had to visit the place during my recent visit to Florida. I had always heard mix reactions about the theme park, some complimenting it, whilst other simply saying it was not there thing. Nevertheless, I was still determined to visit it, at least once to squash the rumours and determine for myself whether this place was thumbs ... ...Gardens is currently owned by Busch Entertainment Corporation.
Busch Gardens Africa was first opened in 1959, and was a 340 acre African themed, safari park. The park was originally free for all guests as it was linked to the Anheuser-Busch brewery located on the site. The idea was that guests would first be able to see wild animals, before entering the main beer manufacturing plant. However, during the 1970s the manufacturing plant closed down, ...

...place, and we came across Busch gardens, this looked perfect as I was not a great roller coaster fan, although I can cope with tame rides, my husband loves the wild ones. So this place looked perfect it would suit us both. Once we arrived at the park there was an extreme buzz surrounding the place, roller coasters were whooshing around and people were screaming and having a great time. I could not help but smile, the place was out of this world. ... ...be issued your own personal Busch gardens credit card, for you to keep so you can return with no trouble, unfortunately you cannot pass this one to friends as they take your finger print and this too is allocated to the card. Once you have entered all your bags and things are check at the gate, for security as they are very tight on that, this is a good thing because at least you know you and the children will be safe, the only down side is that ...

Advantages: Fantastic rides and animals Disadvantages: Its not in Orlando!
Busch Gardens is a very very good park. It combines great rides with great shows and some beautiful scenary. The majority of the park resemble the serengeti of africa and have the aniamls too with giraffes, elephants, zebra all roaming the land. The rides at Busch Gardens are reletively new with the exception of Kumba which is an old wooden rollercoaster but is still very good. The newer rides such as the montu are amongst the best in Florida. One ... ...avery. Here you can go in buy some nectar and have wild tropical birds sit on your hand while drinking the nectar out of a cup. Where else can you do that? The only bad thing i could find about the park is its location. As its in Tampa Bay it takes about an hour to get to from Orlando and you probably need to have a hire car to get there. Overall its like an awesome zoo with fantastic rides. ...

Advantages: Only an hour away from Orlando Disadvantages: Rides opening later than expected
My partner and I visited in September 2006. We had a 5 Park Flex-ticket so we visited as a day trip from Orlando. We arrived at the park at around10.30 am, we were more interested in the rides than the safari experience. Most of the bigger rides do not open until the park has filled up, but none of the staff will actually tell you this, most of them have 'technical difficulties'. Due to this the rides that are open have larger queues. As you walk ... ...and they have also have a marketing suite, which goes into the history of Bud and the tradition they use to make it, well worth a visit, if only for the free Bud !!
Even the flowerbeds have so much attention to detail. Not a single ride disappointed us, also I did feel that Sheikra is not all it is hyped up to be.
Qwazi was the best ride, an old style wooden track which looks very boring, to be honest we only went on it as it is close to the entrance ...

Advantages: Gerat Rides Disadvantages: A bit far from Orlando
Although Busch Gardens is one of the Main Theme Parks in Florida it doesnt seem as busy as the others even in summer months. We purchased our tickets from our hotel in Orlando and got the five park flexi ticket which cost $220 each and included Busch Gardens, Sea world, wet n wild and both universal parks. It also includes free transport to busch gardens in Tampa Bay by coach, there are a number of pick ups the main one on I drive being the Mercarno. ... ...and pleasent with a friendly driver and clean atmosphere.
The rides vary from large thrill rides Like the Montu and Shiekra to smaller rides as there are water rapids and there is a childrens section of the park. There are lots of shops around that are quite cheap and also a number of amusements like 'hook a duck' which is $2 a go and you win a prize everytime.
There is plenty of shade here which is nice as its very hot. There is also lots of animals, ...
