I remembered having a great time every year so this year, after not having a holiday for over 20 years, decided to book a holiday at butlins, Skegness. After recently coming back from Butlins Skegness, I thought I would write a review on the place. On arriving at Butlins the first thing you have to do it to find your check in desk to get your room keys. This is very easy if you have a desk number, unfortunately if you haven’t then expect a hour wait as you queue up to get the information from the service desk. I'd never been to butlins before this. And for some strange reason (partly fueled, I suspect, by large quantities of alcohol), my wife and I, her parents, her cousins, plus cousin's girlfriend and 5 month old baby, and of course our 2 yr old, Emily, decided to take a pilgrimage to Minehead in early June "for a break". I have been going to Butlins since I was 8 yrs old. i am now 32! We go there every year at least twice. We go to Minehead in Somerset and its a sea side resort with stunning countryside and views, lots of things to do outside the camp (if you get time).
