...they were taking her to Cadbury World and asked if I'd like to go as well. I told him it was a daft question and he knowing my love for chocolate said he thought I'd say something like that. ***Arriving at Cadbury World***
After parking (this is free) we made our way into Cadbury World. We still had to queue for our tickets but as we had booked in advance this was very simple and didn't take long. We had printed a copy of the confirmation email along with us and this is all they needed. INTRODUCTION
Cadbury World is located in Bournville, a village in Birmingham which was actually founded by the Cadbury family and named after a nearby river, 'Bourn' There is bar of chocolate named after this village, it is a dark chocolate bar and comes in red and gold packaging.
I do not live very far from Cadbury World at all and over the past 21 years I must have been about 10 times or more. I usually go with family and each time we visit there ... ...front of the entrance to Cadbury World. There is a reasonable amount of spaces and there is an overflow car park if that one gets full.

...one day I decided on Cadbury world. I don't know why I thought of it and what to expect and to be honest we didn't even give it that much thought we just we would go on good Friday and spend the day there.
As it got closer to the time I got worried that it might be a bit childish and full of families and some people had commented that they didn't think it was very good.
How wrong were they it was a great day out and really enjoyable. Not at all ... ...a further 7 miles.
Cadbury world is situated in a town called Bournville in Birmingham. It is very easy to get to once you leave the motorway you go on a pretty straight road that is pretty well sign posted it takes you straight to Cadbury world.
Birmingham city centre is about a 15 minute drive away so if you are visiting Birmingham for shopping or sight seeing you wont have far to go to get to Cadbury world.

...sole purpose of visiting their Cadbury factory ("...all because the lady loves Milk Tray") but my previous attempts to visit Birmingham's Cadbury World while in the area had all been thwarted, so we finally decided to make a specific trip recently. Big Sis lives in the Midlands, so I drove down to stay overnight and we set off early on Saturday morning. The route is not complicated, and (chocolate) brown tourist attraction signs, mixed with the occasional ... ...a hologram film of how Cadbury began. It's here that we began to think that doling out Curly Wurlys at the start was not the best idea. Waiting for the screens to reset took a few minutes, so we were not the only people who dug out the chocolate at this point and starting eating. However Curly Wurlys are quite messy - the chocolate literally falls off the toffee - so there were shards all over the floor that some poor person would clearly have to ...

...girlfriend prefers chocolate. This makes Cadbury World in Birmingham an ideal place to take her for a day out. She's not alone, either, as more than half a million people have visited the attraction each year since it opened in 1990, which does mean that advance booking is strongly recommended as waiting times can exceed 3 hours for those without that foresight. It hardly seems fair, though; alcoholics get to go to meetings; chocoholics get to go ... ...the Bournville site of the Cadbury factory which has been in the area since 1879 and which, I was disappointed to discover, was not named after the chocolate, but after the Bourn stream which splits the site. This does make travelling there relatively easy, though, with the site accessible from the M5, M6 and M42 motorways for those driving and being around a 15 minute walk from Bournville railway station from those who don't. I first discovered Cadbury World about 7 years ago. We have made our annual pilgrimage ever since. Actually, we now go at least twice a year. I love it, and so do my husband and children. Cadbury World cost £6 million to design and build, and over 5 million people have visited since it opened on 14th August 1990. In fact 534,000 of these were during 2002 alone.
===Where is it?===
It is located in Bourneville near Birmingham. You can use junctions ... ...M42. Bourneville is signposted, and Cadbury World is on lots of the brown tourist signs. You can’t miss it really.

The last time I checked, the prices were as follows:

...chocolate fan i have visited Cadbury World 3 times in my lifetime and two of those times have been this year! So i am here to tell you a bit about it and why you should go.
~~A Quick History Lesson, chocolate style!~~
Cadbury's first started when John Cadbury opened his first shop way back in 1824. In 1831 John Cadbury started producing drinking chocolate. In 1878 John moved Cadburys to it's current site in Bournville after it's original premises ... ...where people still live.
Cadbury dairy milk was launched in 1905 and became the first chocolate bar to contain a glass and a half of fresh milk in every half pund of chocolate produced.
In 1990 Cadbury World visitor centre opened

For me Cadbury World has to be the ‘ultimate chocolate experience’. Over the past five years I have visited the place on a number of occasions and have always experienced something new and exciting. Okay so I cannot eat the chocolate and the smell is overwhelming but for any chocoholic it is the definitive chocolate heaven. (I must point out that I am hypersensitive to chocolate!)
This unique chocolate concept cost approximately six ... ...The average walk around the Cadbury World exhibition lasts about two hours, not including the Cadbury Collection Museum (allow approx. 30 minutes). Plus there is the play area, two shops, a restaurant, a snack bar and a picnic area. In total, most visitors spend around 3 hours on site, according to Cadbury World. (I usually spend nearer five hours in total!)

...of a family ticket to Cadbury World because I've been there several times in the past and have loved it every time. I couldn't wait to go again so when I realised the kids were only at school until dinnertime today thanks to another teacher training day I decided we'd make use of them straight away.
Cadbury World is cleverly placed inside the Cadbury's factory in Bournville (yes, the same as the chocolate bar), South Birmingham. It's easiest to ... ...from the adverts. When Cadbury World first opened you could have a ride up and down the car park in one of these cars but sadly this has been stopped now, although most people (me and the kids included) seem happy enough to simply have their photo taken standing beside the famous cars. He wasn't here this time, but if you visit during the school holidays Cadbury World provide a 'greeter' at the entrance in the shape of a bloke dressed as a cocoa ...

***WHY BEN WENT TO CADBURY LAND***
I had made the decision to celebrate the true meaning of easter – chocolate – by taking a trip to the place where it comes from. No, not Wonkaland but the famous(ish) Cadbury Land in Birmingham, which is based in and around the actual processing plant where your favourite chocolate treats are made. And Cadbury Dream bars ... ...were a few vans with Cadbury logos emblazoned on them at the other side from the station, we headed thataway. Fortunately there was a guy lurking around the train station, looking down at the tracks. Unfazed, I asked the staring-man where the place was, and we were soon in business. There are a few signposts, but you have to keep your eye out for them, they’re tricky to spot.

I visited Cadbury World when i was younger and recently thought it would be nice to go again to see if there was anything new.
Cadbury World is situated in the centre of Birmingham, easily accessible from all angles although is not terribly well signposted until you are pretty much there.
There is parking on site, although there are no more than 200 spaces so on a busy day you may have trouble finding a space. We went on a saturday in october and ... ...we could enter the actual Cadbury tour.
Each ticket costs £9.99 for students and children, and £12.95 per adult. There are family tickets available as well as yearly passes but these all vary in price depending on your situation and family size so its best checking before hand.
Each ticket has a time in which you can enter and when your time approaches you simply join the queue and wait to be sent through.

...on a school trip to Cadbury World in Birmingham, the sound of free chocolate sounded too good to miss so I didn’t complain too much! The idea of riding on a coach with 31 irritable children (aged 14-16) for nearly 4 hours wasn’t my idea of fun, but then again that’s one of the pleasures of living in East Anglia, miles away from anywhere! My day began at 5.30am, say no more!

Cadbury says that the average walk around their site takes 1 hour 45 minutes and I found this to be about right. You don’t get shown around, it’s more of a self-guided tour with paths and walkways mapped out.
