Advantages: Close amenities/Friendly locals/Nightlife/Shopping/Food to suit all Disadvantages: quiet at times and building construction going on as the area is seeing more touism
...walked along the prominade to Cala Millor but you can get a taxi from Cala Bona taxi rank just where the beach is - (by the way there is a much larger beach at Cala Millor but it can get very busy in high season my advice grab a spot when you can as all the watersports, bungie spring etc is based at Cala Millor.
The taxi won't cost you much as its not far at all, about 60-70Euros. Do put on your seatbelt though, these guys like to get the job done ... ...up the shopping streets in Cala Millor.
All in all I found that I got to sleep at night in the nice peaceful resort of Cala Bona and had Cala Millor on my doorstep. I counldn't have asked for more it was everything a holiday should be FUN, RELAXING, ALL NIGHT PARTYING, VERY FRIENDLY LOCALS, CULTURE.
Do check out the food at 'Smugglers' on the harbour fantastic for a chicken curry and on the main road in Cala Bona there is a yorkshire pub I think ...

Advantages: Sun, Sand, and just about everything else you could possibly wish for Disadvantages: Each resort has it's own features so pic the resort thats best for you
...first night in the Hotel Cala Bona In Cala Bona.
If the above image has wet your apitite then you are in for a treat, Cala Bona is the type of place that just seems to move along at it's own pace - Cala Bona Time some of the locals call it, yes you do have all teh usual facilites you'd expect in any european holidays resort like cafe's and bars and even the odd night club.Most of the entertainment is hotel based but the hotels spill out on to the ... ...to swim in the sea Cala Bona has a lovely man made sandy beach with rock pools in the sea which are ideal for swimming in.
Why not take a few bread rolls into the sea with you and watch the fish feed from your hand the experiances are unbeleaveable.
In my opinion Cala Bona is not for people that are looking for endless rows of night clubs but is ideal for anyone looking for the special place not too far away from home. ...
