    Advantages Advantages best beach on the island, clean

    Disadvantages Disadvantages too artificial

    When was the last time you did something for the first time? With my husband and me it was last year on Friday before Whitsun, the day was drab and dreary and my husband said, ´Let´s go somewhere sunny!´ On Saturday we went to our travel agency and virtually moved round the Mediterranean Sea, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, in the end it was Spain, on Tuesday we were on Majorca, in the resort Cala Millor on the east coast to be precise.     I have just returned from our holiday - a week at Cala Millor. This resort is on the East coast of Majorca(about 1 hour from Palma airport) linked to its neighbouring resort of Cala Bona by a promenade. Cala Millor has a long, sandy beach with many sunbeds and parasols to hire, close to which is the shopping parade both seafront and off the seafront. A leisurely stroll in the evening (when the resort is bustling with tourists) along the promenade brings you to Cala Bona with its picturesque harbour and souvenir shops and bars.     Advantages Advantages Relaxed, bars, restaurants, sandy beach, water sports

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Easily bored after the first week

    Cala Millor is a super resort for a rest on the beach. The sea has a gentle incline and apart from the palm leaf debris regularly washing in, is a great swim for all ages. There is a super little sandwich bar right on the front near the police building on the beach who's home made rolls to order and take away local drinks, etc, make it well worth a visit. There is plenty of flat promenade to walk, bicycle hire is easy. Cala Bona is at the north end of the beach and is worth an evening stroll.
