Advantages: best beach on the island, clean Disadvantages: too artificial
...on Majorca, in the resort Cala Millor on the east coast to be precise.
Majorca of all places! I donīt know about the reputation of Majorca in GB, in Germany itīs bad, from what Iīve understood from the travel reports Iīve read, it must be for Germans what Benidorm is for British tourists: everyone associates it with low life tourists going there only to booze and behave badly.
Whose fault is it that Majorca has got this negative image? Well, mass ... ...tourist hell come true.
Cala Millor, our destination: We landed on the airport of the capital Palma and were taken by coach to our hotel on the east coast, (70 km, about one and half hour). There is plenty of flat promenade to walk, bicycle hire is easy. Cala Bona is at the north ... ...other at the begining of Cala Bona is well worth the short walk. Cas Torrandor resturant in Cala Millor was really good, serving unbelievable steaks, sold by the Kilo, and great wines, a real spanish treat.
There is a kentucky Fried chicken and a burger king in town if you must.
