Advantages: Fantastic views from room, very relaxing Disadvantages: Dinning in the hotel was chaotic
...spent 2 night at the Caledonian Hotel in Ullapool last week.
Ullapool is a small town in the North West of Scotland, about an hours drive north of Inverness. As one of the main ports for ferrys over to the island this is reason most people come to the area.
The Caledonian Hotel is one of the oldest and largest hotels in the town, with around 85 rooms. Being 8months pregnant I was a bit disappointed when we checked in and found out our room was ... ...and on the whole the Caledonian Hotel was great and I would recommend it - and hopefully by the time anyone else visits they will have solved their problems of short staffing in the restaurant!!!!
